Therefore, we provide this Privacy Policy notice to explain our on-line information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. Note: Much of information submitted by you to these services is done so with the intent that we make the information public knowledge. However, users are welcome to disclose their email address in the text of their postings if they desire. The posting forms also note other items that may typically be considered personally identifiable information, which we allow users the option to disclose (such as addresses) or provide other means to make the publicly disclosed information more confidential (such as by selecting a region of the country instead of a state).

Inquiry Submission Form

We request information from you when you fill out our inquiry submission form. You must provide a valid email address so that you can receive responses to your inquiries by our licensed real estate agents. We also collect information regarding the details of your property.

Your email address and other personal information required remain confidential and will not be distributed to any outside parties, except as necessary to process the inquiry through licensed real estate agents.

Auto-Listings Email Program

If you wish to request Listings automatically by Email through one of our agents, we ask for the email address to which you want the new listings delivered and for brief information regarding the types of listings you are interested in receiving. Your email address always remains private and is not sold or supplied to any third parties.

Canadian Property Values does permit its broker members to review our database of the types of listings that are currently sought, and if your Listings-By-Email request matches their criteria, the broker member is able to contact you through our blind email system (in which your identity or email address is not revealed). You may, however, opt to not have your listings preferences disclosed to Canadian Property Values broker members by checking the box on the Listings-By-Email form.

To unsubscribe from our Listings-By-Email, simply go to the Contact US section on the bottom of the site of Canadian Property Values and fill out the required information and in the box marked “comments” simply write "Cancel Inquiry" ((Note that Canadian Property Values may also delete your subscription if your email address no longer functions.) When you unsubscribe, your email address and information preferences are immediately removed from our database.

Submitting an Email Inquiry

When you submit an inquiry to Canadian Property Values through our custom forms, your request is sent through our servers to the intended party. We do not sell or distribute to any outside party, any of the information submitted in the inquiry form reply form.

Email Correspondence

If you send an email to Canadian Property Values, we use your return email address to answer your inquiry or comment. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

On rare occasions, if ever, Canadian Property Values may send registered users an email announcement regarding a change in our service that affects their use of it.

HOW TO CONTACT CANADIAN PROPERTY VALUES

If for any reason you feel it’s necessary to contact Canadian Property Values after your original inquiry has been submitted, select the “contact us” button found on the bottom of the site. Provide our Customer Service Representative with your comments or concerns in the box marked “comments”. This is initiate a review by our process centre and your response will be issued to you within two business days.

If you select the option to delete your original request, it is immediately deleted upon clicking the button to confirm that you do indeed wish to delete it. If you select the option to edit your reuest, the changes you request are first reviewed by our processing center, and may take up to two business days to appear in their updated state on-line. Deleted or modified information may continue to be stored by Canadian Property Values for archival record-keeping purposes only.

SITE AND SERVICE UPDATES

We send each individual a welcoming email to verify the email address used in the inquiry. On very rare occasions, we may also send site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of this information by Canadian Property Values.
